Sissy Vian, Fashion Editor of Harper's Bazaar Italia, for the Master’s in Fashion Styling & Creative Direction; Walter Chiapponi, Creative Director of Blumarine, for the Master’s in Fashion Design and Matteo de Rosa, CEO of LVMH Métiers d'Art, for the Master’s in Fashion Product Management, are the Mentors who will support the students who have enrolled in Master's programmes at Istituto Marangoni Milano for the Academic Year 2023/2024.

Mentorship Programmes offer unique opportunities for Fashion students to work closely with industry professionals. These programmes involve a series of challenges that will help the students enhance their creativity, technical skills, and strategic abilities. The projects are divided into three stages: Launch, Mid-Review, and Final Delivery. During the Mid-Review, the students will receive initial feedback from their mentors who will guide and advise them throughout the project. The best project from the class will be announced during the Final Delivery stage.

Each mentor has been assigned to a different course based on their competencies and skills in the fashion industry. Sissy Vian will work with the students of the Master's in Fashion Styling & Creative Direction, encouraging them to think beyond the conventional and conduct thorough research. Walter Chiapponi will share his expertise with the students of the Master's in Fashion Design. Matteo de Rosa, with his proficiency, will guide the students of the Master's in Fashion Product Management in creating effective and innovative communication and branding strategies.

The Master's program will include a special project in collaboration with Giuliano Calza, the Creative Director and Founder of GCDS, who will provide his comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the fashion industry to support the first-year students of the three-year courses in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, and Fashion Business.

The Mentorship Programmes are the flagship projects offered by Istituto Marangoni Milano. They provide important opportunities for growth and visibility to the students, who get to engage with industry professionals for advice and insights.

Stay tuned to learn more about the individual projects and future talents in the world of fashion and luxury!
