Istituto Marangoni has always anticipated industry changes and the needs of the market to ensure an updated programme, with real career opportunities. The Master’s in Fashion Omni-channel & E-commerce was created by the Milano fashion school precisely for this purpose.

The Omnichannel Marketing Manager: the future of retail

In today's market, characterised by the recent expansion of retail channels, it is essential for luxury brands to develop a well-structured and effective omni-channel sales strategy. In recent years we have witnessed important changes that require a new approach, with the global goal of integrating physical and digital channels. The pandemic also led to an increase in sales through e-commerce and reshaped the process of selling to end consumers, dominated by digital channels.

According to the World Economic Forum (Wef) study “The future of Jobs 2020”, 9 out of 10 professions will require advanced digital know-how by 2030. Istituto Marangoni conducted a survey, asking major fashion companies to identify which would be the next profiles to invest in: the omni-channel marketing manager was one of the most relevant for over 60% of respondents.

During the course, participants will have the opportunity to explore the latest technologies, while experimenting with new approaches and their application to the customer experience. The main objective is to train future managers, capable of leading the omni-channel digital revolution and of responding to the challenges that companies will soon have to face on global markets.

Special attention will be paid to the analysis of innovative examples and case histories of Italian brands capable of offering an integrated online/offline experience. The impact of digital technologies in the entire fashion product cycle will also be addressed: from the supply chain and the creative process, through to the development of an effective marketing communications plan.

To complete the course, students will have the unique opportunity to take part in a project with Versace. The well-known high fashion house will collaborate with the Master's students to develop new omni-channel and e-commerce strategies, giving shape to unique and innovative shopping experiences.

The next course will start in October 2021. Apply now
