Front Row 2024 is all about Hyper Essentialism
Front Row 2024 is all about Hyper Essentialism
Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Fashion is preparing for a new edition of Front Row, an iconic event that has been part of the dynamic context of Milan Fashion Week in February for seven years now.
This year's event will take place at the headquarters on 4, Via Verri, on 21, 22 and 23 February. The theme is "Hyper Essentialism", which explores the evolution of taste and trends and their impact on the collections and on consumer choices. The theme finds its ultimate expression in the trend we now know as "quiet luxury", which is not expressed through ostentation or logos, but rather in the form of high-quality fabrics and cuts.
Having become a fixture for students, industry insiders and fashion enthusiasts every year, Front Row is a unique opportunity to discuss the most relevant topics for the fashion industry.
"Hyper Essentialism" reflects on how fashion collections have embraced a more essential and uniform aesthetic, enabling faster and more effective communication with an audience that is increasingly difficult to surprise. In today’s post-modern society, digitisation has contributed to a globalised aesthetic, shaping new consumer codes that will be explored during the panels at Front Row 2024.
