MODULE 1 – DESIGN HISTORY 
This course allows students to learn the main design movements which have characterized design history and culture. The focuses are the understanding of the fundamental principles of good visual communication and the study of the evolution of printing techniques and representation methods over time, through a lab-based approach.

MODULE 2 – PUBLISHING GRAPHICS
The course provides the theoretical/practical tools to understand the fundamentals of layout design and type usage. Studying design elements of typography and lettering, photography and visual hierarchy for publishing graphics, participants tackle the theories of visual perception and learn how to use digital tools and representation methods for digital image processing.

MODULE 3 – VIDEO PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES
The course considers all the cultural, aesthetic, technical aspects related to the language of production techniques, both photographic and video, considered as a whole of systems, technologies and languages for the visual communication. In this course participants learn how to communicate through visual language and storytelling, including video and new media, focusing on visual communication as a strategic lever and applying the basic principles of Gestalt theory and of image semiotics.

MODULE 4 – GRAPHIC DESIGN 
The contents of the course go through the fundamentals of visual design with a particular emphasis on graphic compositions, digital and printed. The course focuses on graphic design techniques and representation methods for image processing for the creation of visual brand identities for the corporate world, identifying all the graphic elements, codes and visual assets which define a consistent visual design project.

MODULE 5 – COMMUNICATION THEORY
The course explores communication theory, digital video production, brand communication, and various communication tools and techniques. Students develop skills in visual storytelling, brand identity creation, and effective media usage, preparing them for dynamic careers in design and media industries. Practical projects and theoretical insights foster a comprehensive learning experience.

MODULE 6 – DIGITAL VIDEO
The course combines communication theory with practical skills in digital video production and brand communication. Students learn to create compelling visual content using advanced communication tools and techniques, enhancing their ability to convey brand messages effectively across various media platforms.

MODULE 7 – MULTIMEDIA DESIGN
The course covers interface design, brand communication, and essential communication tools and techniques. Students learn to create engaging, user-friendly interfaces and develop cohesive brand strategies. The curriculum blends practical skills with theoretical knowledge, preparing students for dynamic careers in digital media and design industries.

MODULE 8 – COMMUNICATION IN EXHIBITIONS 
The course focuses on communication in exhibitions, brand communication, and essential tools and techniques. Students learn to create cohesive visual brand identities for exhibitions, mastering the art of engaging displays and effective messaging. The course combines theoretical insights with practical skills, preparing students for careers in visual communication and branding.

MODULE 9 – SOCIOLOGY AND ANTROPOLOGY OF COMMUNICATION 
This course focuses on visual design, informed by an analysis of sociology and anthropology of communication dynamics in our social media-driven world. It covers marketing fundamentals and multimedia design. Students learn to create visually compelling content that resonates with contemporary social trends, utilizing effective marketing and multimedia techniques.

MODULE 10 – COMMUNICATION DESIGN
This course focuses on design for communication in the new media landscape, exploring how communication dynamics are reshaped. It covers the creation of compelling ad campaigns across various touchpoints, both physical and digital. Students learn to develop innovative strategies to effectively engage audiences and strengthen brand presence in a rapidly evolving media environment.

MODULE 11 – TECHNIQUES OF DESIGN COMMUNICATION
This course focuses on multimedia techniques of design communication in the new media landscape, examining reshaped communication dynamics. It trains visual designers to conceive effective communication campaigns using creative direction and multimedia tools. Students learn to engage multiple audiences with innovative, impactful visual content across diverse platforms.

MODULE 12 – ART DIRECTION 
This course focuses on art direction and design communication techniques aimed at effectively targeting audiences. It emphasizes maintaining brand consistency, triggering word of mouth, and staying relevant in contemporary conversations. Students learn to craft compelling visual narratives and strategic campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and enhance brand presence in a unique way.
