Paula Auguilera, I'M Alumna of the Bachelor's course in Fashion Design at IM Milano Fashion, is a designer and art curator based in Milan.

Originally from Colombia, Paula moved to Milan in 2013 to study a Bachelor's course in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion. Following her studies in Fashion, Paula continued her academic studies in Italy by specializing in Visual Arts and Curatorial Management. 

After graduating from Istituto Marangoni in 2015, Paula began her career in fashion design, first working for the Copenhagen-based brand Mark Kenly Domino Tan. She then returned to Milan to work as a tailor at the Gianni Marigliano tailoring shop. In 2020, Paula transitioned to the art world, taking on her first role as Gallery Assistant at Futuredome, an independent contemporary museum aiming at nurturing emerging international talents. Other notable experiences include her work as an Art Consultant for Arcadia, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating high-quality content spanning literature, science, and aesthetics. From 2022 to 2024, Paula has worked as an Assistant Curator at Chippendale Studio, a project founded in Milan in 2013 by art critic Luca Panaro. In 2023, she also expanded her curatorial experience, working as a curator for the Centrale Festival in Fano and curating the photography for Bekele Mekonnen’s installation at the Musei Reali di Torino.

In 2024, Paula was selected amongst the three winners of the "Because there is no planet B®" contest, organized by Istituto Marangoni in collaboration with Ecoalf for the 15th anniversary celebration of the company. Paula's creative design was printed on limited-edition tote bags made from Ecoalf's leftover recycled fabrics, aiming to promote sustainability and educate future generations about the importance of reducing plastic waste.
