Chicco Mao, I'M Alumnus of the Bachelor's course in Fashion Design at IM Milano Fashion school, is a Chinese fashion designer and founder of CHICCO MAO brand.

After graduating from Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion school in 2013, where he perfected his skills in Fashion Design, Chicco Mao established in 2014 his eponymous brand, CHICCO MAO, in Beijing, China. Over the years, Chicco's work has received numerous accolades. In 2019 he was nominated among China’s Top Ten Fashion Designers and in 2021 his innovative designs and commitment to quality earned him the title of China’s Best Womenswear Designer. Most notably, he received in 2023 the China Fashion Design “Top Award” and the China Fashion Brand Award for multiple consecutive years, including 2020, 2021, and 2022.
In 2024, during the SS25 Season, Chicco Mao returned to Milan to debut his brand on the prestigious Milan Fashion Week stage with a special collection to celebrate the brand’s tenth anniversary.

CHICCO MAO is renowned for its unique fusion of traditional Eastern aesthetics and classic Western style, capturing the attention of celebrities such as Zhang Ziyi, Liu Yifei, and Yang Mi. His SS25 collection marked the beginning of a new era for the brand with a focus on eco-friendly and regenerative materials, setting new standards in textile technology and sustainable development.
