On June 21, just a few days after the closing of Milano Moda Uomo, Istituto Marangoni’s Under The Light brings the fashion industry and the city of Milan together once again for a unique performance that explores the contamination between fashion, art and design. Under The Light, that takes place in the beautiful open space of The Mall, unveils the best final projects of the Milano School of Fashion and Design students: 10 womenswear collections created by the best students of Fashion Design and 9 of the most innovative works of the students of Product, Interior, and Visual Design. Moreover, the show also includes a static showcase of the creations of the most promising fashion designers. The show is the culmination of the academic journey of these young talented designers, who are carefully selected by a VIP jury of renowned names within both the Fashion and the Design industry. During the three years, the students demonstrated not only their exceptional talents but also the determination to develop their abilities through hard work and to constantly challenge their creativity. Despite it not being an easy journey, they were always supported and guided by Istituto Marangoni’s members of faculty – who include some of the most successful designers and industry experts – and prestigious Mentors, like Maurizio Pecoraro, International Fashion Chair of the School of Fashion, and Giulio Cappellini, Ambassador of the School of Design. The night continues after the show with a Cocktail Party animated by the music of Dj Sol Begino, one of Istituto Marangoni’s talents.
