15th June, 2015 · Istituto Marangoni celebrated its 80th anniversary in Florence, in the amazing backdrop of Palazzo Corsini, with “The Menswear Warrior Show.” Inspired by the theme “Fashion Warrior,” an explicit invitation to fight for the future by means of creativity, the fashion show presented the best menswear collections by 16 selected fashion designers from the 4 Istituto Marangoni Schools of Fashion in the world. Over 300 guests including journalists, industry professionals, and representatives from the fashion system attended this special event, the first of a series of events in the rich programme of initiatives and events that will take place throughout 2015 to celebrate the 80 year-long successful history of the School. Wang Shiyi, who is currently training at the School of Fashion in Milano, has also been selected by the internal jury among all designers as the designer showcasing “The Best  80th  Menswarrior Collection”. “Istituto Marangoni is constantly committed to promoting new talents” said Roberto Riccio, Istituto Marangoni Group Managing Director, “We are proud to have offered visibility to our best fashion designers, true ambassadors of the Istituto Marangoni method and Made in Italy excellence products, here in the cradle of Italian culture, Florence, helping them to personally experience the typical excitement and adrenaline around a fashion show.”
