im alumni at london fashion week
Two Istituto Marangoni alumni have been selected to present their collections at the Fashion Week in London. On 13 September 2014, Jeetinder Sandhu and Eva Cammarata showcased at the dazzling Grand Connaught Rooms, London, during the off-schedule show organized by Fashions Finest. . At the same time, Swedish designer Louise Körner presented her Louise Körner x MUUSE Collection ‘Lost in the desert’ at the Fourmarketing Sales Showroom.
A multi award-winning fashion event company for up and coming & established designers from the UK and abroad, Fashions Finest has established itself as the second largest off schedule show during London Fashion Week. Four designers will be featured, and we are proud that as many as two of them are IM graduates. Jeetinder Sandhu - a menswear designer from New Delhi, India, completed his BA in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni London in 2013. His lines stand out for the use of vibrant colours, and he draws inspiration from his rich Indian heritage yet reinterpreting it in a modern, contemporary style. Italian designer Eva Cammarata graduated from Istituto Marangoni London in 2014, with a Master Degree in Fashion Design Womenswear. She has worked for high-end ateliers such as John Richmond and Giles Deacon and launched her own label in 2010. She loves colours, too, and focuses on the definition of a new femininity through unexpected cuts and glorious silhouettes.
Both of them are not new to Fashions Finest’s big stage, as they have showcased their creations at LFW over the past few years and have already gained appreciation from industry professionals and the media.
