Alumnus Jun Zhou at the London Fashion Week Men’s 2018
Jun Zhou, Chinese fashion designer and alumnus of Istituto Marangoni, will take part in the London Fashion Week Men’s 2018 with his brand Pronounce, next January 8th, 2018, at 11am, with a special fashion show presented by GQ China.
Jun attended the Master’s course in Fashion Design Menswear at Milano School of Fashion and graduated in 2013. While studying he worked for Ermenegildo Zegna for the realization of a new collection.
Together with Yushan Li, who boasts collaborations with John Galliano and Lane Crawford and worked as a menswear designer for Yeezy in Los Angeles, Jun founded Pronounce, a brand based in Milan and Shanghai that blends western and eastern aesthetics to create a sophisticated and modern wardrobe to overcome the boundaries between “boy” and “men”.
Pronounce took part for the first time in the London Fashion Week Men’s with the F/W 2017 collection “Rarámuri” and an exclusive fashion show presented by GQ China: this collection was also showcased in January 2017 in Florence during Pitti Immagine Uomo 91 winning the “Latest Fashion Buzz” prize. Inspired by the tribe of the same name living in Sierra Madre, Mexico, “Rarámuri” was also showcased within Labelhood, during the Shanghai Fashion Week, and was shortlisted for the Woolmark Prize 2017.
