"The Circularity of Time"

Maria Storino, a student from the Master’s programme in Fashion Styling Creative Direction & Digital Content, presented "La circolarità del tempo" (The Circularity of Time), a project inspired by various sources, including the works of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, at Vian.

Maria's main inspiration was a performance by French choreographer Yoann Bourgeois, featuring a woman in a tub filled with water slowly rising to the top, which made Maria think about the circularity of time' and the cycle of life. 

Her project aims to showcase the evolution of the slip dress over time, from its early function of protecting the body to its more sensual use in the 1990s, as exemplified by Kate Moss.
