“Detoxify the Slipdress”

A Master's student in Fashion Styling Creative Direction & Digital Content, Benedetta De Martino created "Detoxify the Slipdress" as an attempt to challenge the traditional image of slipdresses in Western culture.

For her work, Benedetta was inspired by the French artist, photographer and Surrealist Claude Cahun, known for her expressive self-portraits. Benedetta's project aims to demonstrate that the slip dress should not be associated with objectifying the female body through erotic connotations.
