sugar mama concept store
Meital Taieb opened her first concept store in Israel. It's called Sugar Mamaand it proposes a new idea of shopping.
A new way of thinking about fashion, a new world. High-quality materials, painstaking attention to detail and the personal touch of a fashion designer who has been following trends in the fashion capitals of Europe with an active interest. These are the ingredients of Sugar Mama, which makes big news in Israel’s fashion world.
After earning a master's degree in Fashion Styling & Portfolio at Istituto Marangoni in Milano in 2012, Meital Taieb interned in the showroom of Jean Paul Gaultier in Milano. At the same time, she began visiting showrooms and concept stores throughout Milano, Italy and Paris, France in order to pick up every little nuance of marketing and gain full mastery of her new strategy.
Today Taieb is ready to put to the test all that she learned from her months of hard work and study; she defined the concept for her store in Europe and returned home with a mission to make a space for promising emerging designers. To launch Sugar Mama, she chooses to work with young Israeli designers, former students of Istituto Marangoni. Among them: Shraga Sivan, owner of the new brand of shoes and accessories Si-V, Jonathan Stern, designer at "Les Hommes", Sharon Ezra, designer of “Numerozeta", Lior Susana, fashion photographer and Tal Penner, fashion designer.
