Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Fashion is pleased to announce that Rachel Scott, founder of the Diotima brand and I'M Alumna, is among the 22 semifinalists of the LVMH Prize, the award that the holding company annually awards to emerging designers who stand out for their talent and potential.
Born in Jamaica and raised in London, Rachel Scott attended the Fashion Design Intensive course where she perfected her skills and acquired the tools that led her to take her first steps in the fashion world, working as a consultant for European and American brands.
After an experience as an Assistant Designer at Costume National, she moved to New York where she worked with brands such as J.Mendel, Elizabeth & James, and Rachel Comey, and in 2020 founded Diotima, a brand known for its minimalist style and strong commitment to sustainability.
