Istituto Marangoni Firenze and Istituto Marangoni Shanghai for Acqua Panna
Dynamically blending creativity and culture, Istituto Marangoni Firenze and Istituto Marangoni Shanghai worked on a creative project combining fashion and art to support Acqua Panna's visual identity as it enters the Chinese market.
Istituto Marangoni students were given the task of creating innovative products that celebrated Acqua Panna's history but also represented its contemporary qualities. Working alongside them in this project was Chinese designer Yang Li, founder of Le Temps des Rêves, who collaborated with the students throughout the programme and contributed a distinctive touch to the project.
The Fashion Design students at Istituto Marangoni Shanghai developed bags using CLO3D for the digital design of the accessories, while students from Istituto Marangoni Firenze's Multimedia Arts and Arts Curating courses drew inspiration from the Medici Family and Eleonora di Toledo, the first wife of Cosimo I de' Medici and the last duchess of Florence. They created a series of artwork that was transferred onto a bandana and scarf.
The final outcome is a box that encompasses all the creative elements of the collaboration, alongside a photo shoot that captures its beauty.
Participants in this project had the opportunity to collaborate with students from different courses and cultures, which promoted creativity and teamwork to complete an international creative project.
