Celebrating K-Beauty and Fashion at Milan Loves Seoul

FROM MILAN TO SEOUL, AN EXCLUSIVE EVENT TO CELEBRATE GLOBAL FASHION
Istituto Marangoni has been confirmed the exclusive Education Partner of the third edition of Milan Loves Seoul, an iconic event that aims to celebrate the convergence of Korean and Italian cultures through the lens of fashion and beauty, bridging the gap between Korean design excellence and the vibrant fashion scene of Milan and Seoul, bringing together creativity, innovation, and a celebration of global fashion.
The event made its debut during the Milan Fashion Week in 2024 and was followed by a second edition in Seoul last September, where – among selected Italian emerging designer showcasing during the Seoul Fashion Week – the two talented I’M Elisa Nencioni and Francesca Cottone won respectively the first prize and a special prize assigned by Barilla Korea.

In the frantic days of the Milan Fashion Week, this third edition’s agenda engages the community of Milano with an exciting lineup of fashion and culture talks, runway show, and exclusive masterclasses and exhibits, in an immersive experience that goes beyond the conventional fashion showcase.
Istituto Marangoni will inaugurate Milan Loves Seoul opening ceremony at Palazzo Bovara on February 28th with a speech of the Director of the school of Milano Paolo Meroni, while on March 1st two different sessions will engage the community. At 11.00, the professor Andrea Doroldi will take give an overview on the Italian Fashion Distribution System to the Korean designer showcasing at the event, while at 16.00 a fascinating conversation with the Korean fragrance brand Sisology will be conducted by Riccardo Costa, professor at Istituto Marangoni Milano in the Master Degree courses in the fields of Fragrance & Cosmetics.
As official member of the jury of Milan Loves Seoul, Diana Marian Murek, Director of Education of Istituto Marangoni Milano, will join a committee of experts to select the most innovative and creative emerging Korean designer, and will also propose an “Istituto Marangoni Special Prize” to the best designer according to specific criteria. The winner will have the possibility to attend a specialization course in Milano.
