2014 moscow design week
October 17th, 2014 · Once again this year, Istituto Marangoni will participate in the Moscow Design Week, one of the world’s leading events for design and furniture which, this year, will address the theme "Innovation to save the planet."
Elena Porqueddu, IM teacher at the Milano School of Design, will hold a seminar entitled "Design & Resilience: an ecological approach": it will be a unique opportunity to talk about design, flexibility and innovation.
Architectural Design and Project Development teacher at Istituto Marangoni and freelance architect, Elena Porqueddu will explore the potential of the concept of flexible design, taking forward some examples of objects and spaces characterized by high versatility and adaptability.
In support of our ongoing efforts towards the development of innovative and sustainable approaches, Cristina Morozzi, the new Education Director of Istituto Marangoni School of Design, has added: "It is increasingly urgent to bring about an innovative and ecological approach truly capable of responding to unforeseen circumstances in a creative way and with the least possible use of resources and energy. "
