Pompei

Silvio Pompei is a Product & Furniture Designer who graduated Cum Laude from a Master’s degree course in Product & Furniture Design at Istituto Marangoni Milano Design school in 2021.
Silvio began his professional career in 2017 working in Milan as an Interior Designer at Piquattropunto studio; subsequently, from 2018 to 2020, he worked for an innovative start-up as designer and technical area manager, dealing with R&D, design and project management. After graduating from Istituto Marangoni, in 2021 he began working at Studio Otto - Paola Navone as a Designer in the Product & Furniture Team.
During his career, Silvio has been published in Interior Design Magazines including Architectural Digest, Artribune, Elle Decor and Interni. In 2022, two of his projects "Ghirigoro" and "Clutch" won the prestigious MM Awards, respectively receiving the Gold and Silver prizes in the Student category.
Since 2021, Silvio has been a member of the Prisma Project,the I'M Alumni Community Group that gathers notrable designers from Istituto Marangoni Milano Design School and promotes their collaboration with prestigious design brands.
The Winning Project for 'Contemporary Mobility' with Nava Design
In 2022, during the Salone del Mobile, Silvio Pompei participated in the ‘Contemporary Mobility’ competition, organised for Nava Design and developed within I'M Corporate Lab, Istituto Marangoni's tailor-made consultancy agency for companies. Its project, a multifunctional accessory designed with a strong appeal for women and focused on urban mobility, was selected as the winner of the competition. The winning idea, Pocket II, seamlessly integrates the storage of digital devices with a detachable pocket that transforms into a chic mini bag, perfect for moving from one urban environment to another.
I'M Corporate Lab connects top talent with the needs of the industry, offering Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Project Development and Customised Training services. It provides tailor-made support to improve branding strategies and increase visibility through co-branding initiatives.
