Jun Nakamura studied Fashion Design in London and graduated in 2018.

Since his studies, he has been researching new ways to use the technique of shibori in fashion design, and has been nominated in several international fashion competitions.

His company JU-NNA was founded in London after the completion of his M.A. Fashion Design Womenswear from Istituto Marangoni. Drawing from his past, working in the Japanese kimono industry and Tokyo Fashion, the brand focuses on combining traditional Japanese techniques with current and modern design.

Jun incorporates traditional Japanese Shibori into his collections, working with artisans in Asia to put a modern twist on a classic traditional art.
