Dario Vitale, I’M Alumnus of the Fashion Design four-year course at Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion school, is one of the most promising creatives on the fashion scene and now the Chief Creative Officer of Versace.

After graduating in 2006, Dario began his career working at Dsquared2 and then at Bottega Veneta, where he worked under the Creative direction of Tomas Maier. In 2010, he joined Prada Group, where he advanced through the ranks under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada and Fabio Zambernardi, who was at the time the design director of both Prada and Miu Miu brands. Over the years, he ultimately became the Design Director of RTW and Brand Image Director at Miu Miu in September 2023.

Working behind the scenes, he has contributed in shaping the Miu Miu brand's skyrocketing growth and success, while supporting Miuccia Prada in defining its distinctive, irreverent aesthetic. Dario Vitale came under the public eye in January 2025 when it was announced his exit from Miu Miu, leaving his role to Francesca Nicoletti, I’M Alumna of Milano Fashion school as well.

In March 2025, he was officially nominated the Chief Creative Officer of Versace, taking over from Donatella Versace after her 30-year tenure as creative director. Entrusted with contributing to the growth of the iconic Italian brand, he is tasked to build upon the brand’s unique heritage while leveraging on his fresh vision and expertise.
