Alexey Davydenko, of Russian origin, is currently working as a Senior Fashion Designer at Roberto Cavalli with focus on Haute Couture, Special Projects and Celebrities.
He grew up in a family in which the role of women involved disciplined rigor blended with delicate creativity, traits that are often found in his collections of clothing and accessories. He moved to Italy with his mother in 2000 and, after his high school diploma, he decided to pursue his passion for fashion. He graduated in Fashion Design in 2013 from Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion. The collection he presented at the final Graduate Show received high praise from industry experts, his designs were featured in videoclips and TV shows like X Factor Italia; one of his outfits was even chosen for Istituto Marangoni ad campaign on the 80th anniversary of the School. After completing his academic training, he began his professional career with an internship in the Style Department of Vionnet, legendary French fashion house, where he had the opportunity to work closely with professionals such as Hussein Chalayan and Albino D'Amato, assisting the implementation of both ready-to-wear and haute couture collections. Some three years later he joined the Versace team, where he worked as a Junior Fashion Designer for Atelier Versace collections and VIP projects.
