Lixuan Wang is a young Chinese fashion designer who currently works for Ermenegildo Zegna. Her artistic approach is inspired by rubber and the harmonious combination of shapes and volumes it allows depending on the intended use. In line with the Zegna’s commitment to fine quality wool, the designer’s fondness for change and transformation is also reflected in the choice of using this textile fiber, which can be braided and worn in different ways just playing with layering and thicknesses. After graduating from Istituto Marangoni in Milano, she won a scholarship for the Fashion Design Menswear Master course. In 2011, she was also selected as a finalist for the Gala London Graduate Fashion Week representing Istituto Marangoni Milano, and participated in The Fashion School talent show broadcast by SKY TV.
