Istituto Marangoni alumnus Sebastian Gunawan contributed to the success of Aqua Reflections launched by Indonesian mineral water company Aqua with a bottle design inspired by bamboo elements and batik motifs. Renowned in Indonesia as one of the best fashion designers for couture, bridal, ready-to-wear evening gowns, Gunawan’s bottles for Aqua Reflections are targeted for a premium market and are available only at Indonesia’s best hotels, restaurants and cafes. The bamboo-like motifs of the bottle design, strongly infused with Indonesian identity, are an elegant representation of nature’s power and balance, as to reflect the personality of dynamic drinkers who strive to be healthy and strong. In line with his glamorous style and outstanding sketching talent, Sebastian Gunawan stated his goal was to develop this project with an eye on elegance and beauty. In June 2011, Aqua Reflection bottles were presented during the designer’s fashion show titled 'Reflection of You.'
