new partnership with ma*ga
In March, Istituto Marangoni Milano and the Museum MA*GA signed a cooperation agreement aimed at involving students of Interior Design in redesigning some areas of the Art Museum in Gallarate.
The museum - which was left partly inaccessible after a fire - has decided to reorganise the spaces and functions of the large hall and reading room. The aim is to make these areas more pleasant and functional for an increasing community of users of contemporary art, also adapting them to host conferences, concerts and events.
Keeping in mind the educational approach - aimed at strengthening the direct relationship with companies and cultural institutions - Istituto Marangoni welcomes this ambitious challenge with enthusiasm, offering third-year students of the Interior Design course the opportunity to apply the skills and competences they acquired, to a tangible and particularly challenging project.
The young talents of Istituto Marangoni are working on the project to be presented by the end of May and are being coordinated by Marcella Bricchi senior professor of Interior Design at the Design School in Milano, by the Director of the MA*GA Museum Emma Zanella and by the team of the educational Department of the Museum. The project chosen as the most appropriate, in terms of consistency with the needs of the Museum and feasibility, will be then realized.
