On Jun 14 at 12:00 pm at Istituto Marangoni Firenze • The School of Fashion & Art (in Via de’ Tornabuoni, 17) Sara Sozzani Maino gave a final lecture, in conclusion to the “New Challenges” project, a collaboration between Istituto Marangoni and Vogue Talents. The contest – presented during the last edition of Milano Moda Donna, came to life with the aim to promote and support young talents. A scouting of the most gifted artists who are offered 50 scholarships of €5.000 each and up to 50% of the annual school fees (first year), to be used to enrol in the 2018/2019 academic year of BA course either in Milano or Firenze.
During the same Talk, also Ermano Scervino, Brand Ambassador of the School of Firenze, made an appearance presenting the project Scervino – Fondazione Zeffirelli, that challenged students to reinterpret 12 outfits from the famous pièce Bisbetica Domata with a contemporary twist. The goal was to engage students in a project that brings together a creative approach and artisanal work. And Firenze, a centre of culture and tradition, perfectly represents this approach, being the birth place of the greatest maestri of Italian Fashion and the continuous source of inspiration to create new synergies between the area and the school.
