Special guest at istituto marangoni to talk about history, design, graphic art and architecture.

Once again this year, Istituto Marangoni Milano • The Schools of Design presents the conference series titled "In conversation with", dedicated to the stories and professional career of world famous designers. The upcoming highly anticipated visit is scheduled on 16 May, as the architect, designer and art director Piero Lissoni will come and share with the students of the school and other attending guests "a history of design, graphic arts and architecture". The lecture will centre around the Designer’s outstanding professional career, his approach to the project, along with his most significant experiences, moderated by Giulio Cappellini, Art Director of the School of Design. Piero Lissoni, together with Nicoletta Canesi, founded Lissoni Associati in 1986: a full service architectural firm based in Milan and committed to the development of architecture, interior and design projects. This was followed, ten years later, by Graph.x, a studio for visual communication company specializing in brand identity and web design, while in 2013 Lissoni Architettura was established to take charge of international architecture projects. Piero Lissoni is moreover art director for Alpi, Boffi, De Padova, Lema, Living Divani, Lualdi and Porro; he also designs products and exhibition stands for other renowned brands, including Alessi, B&B Italia, Cappellini, Cassina, Cotto, Fantini, Flos, Illy, Kartell, Kerakoll, Knoll International, Sanlorenzo, Tecno. Piero Lissoni's work in the architecture and design industry is acknowledged worldwide and has been awarded with numerous international awards, including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Award, the ADI Compasso d'Oro design award, the Elle Décor International Design Award, and the Wallpaper Design Award. Lissoni has been inducted into the New York Hall of Fame of Interior Design and appointed Honorary Member of the Altagamma International Council.
