22nd September 2015 · On the eve of the highly anticipated Milano Moda Donna, 16 of the best talents from Istituto Marangoni Milano, Paris, London e Shanghai, have presented their collections to experts and fashion professionals in the wonderful backdrop of The Mall – poly-functional space in Porta Nuova, Milano. This special event, which takes place as part of the celebrations for the 80th Anniversary of Istituto Marangoni, provides positive publicity to Istituto Marangoni young fashion designers. The main theme of the event is “Fashion Warrior”, and explicit invitation to fight for the future by means of creativity. Each student has presented 6 womenswear outfits, for a total of 96 creations, to an audience of influential press, local institutions, and professionals in the fashion industry, with more than 300 guests participating in the fashion show. The evening continues with the Degree Show 2015: Istituto Marangoni talented students had the opportunity to showcase the projects they have developed in their Interior Design, Fashion Design and Fashion Styling courses, all dedicated to interior design and fashion. HuiYang Lu has also been selected as the designer showcasing “The Best 80th Women's Collection” by the internal jury among all designers. “This year, we are proud to offer our best students the opportunity to open the women’s fashion week in a city that is one of the symbols of creativity in the world, where Istituto Marangoni was founded, and where outstanding Italian prét-â-porter fashion designers have been trained” says Roberto Riccio, Group Managing Director “The Fashion Show and the Degree Show have always been eagerly awaited events, since they provide opportunities to meet leader companies, designers, fashion and design professionals, who are always scouting for young talents.”
