Validated programmes at Istituto Marangoni Dubai
Istituto Marangoni is a higher education institution licensed to offer educational programmes and award the related qualifications accredited by the CAA (‘Commission for Academic Accreditation’).
The Dubai Fashion and Design School is a higher education institution licensed to offer undergraduate programmes and award accredited qualifications – equivalent to a three-year degree (Bachelor of Arts).
Participants who complete one of the following three-year Fashion and Design programmes will earn the corresponding titles accredited by the CAA (‘Commission for Academic Accreditation’).

Upon completing a programme, participants earn 180 ECTS credits according to their Study Plan, equivalent to a three-year degree course (Bachelor of Arts).
As with all Istituto Marangoni three-year programmes, accredited Bachelor of Arts courses are for participants interested in a career in fashion and design and allow them to continue their studies at Academies and/or Universities or to work in their chosen field.
The Dubai Fashion and Design School is authorised to offer postgraduate programmes and issue the relevant qualifications – equivalent to a Master of Arts – during the accreditation phase.
Participants who complete one of the following Fashion and Design Master’s programmes will receive the corresponding qualifications to be accredited by the CAA (‘Commission for Academic Accreditation’).
Upon completing one of these programmes, participants earn 90 ECTS credits according to their Study Plan, equivalent to a Master of Arts.
The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) is the UAE Federal Government Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. Working collaboratively with relevant international and local authorities in the Emirates, the CAA has a key leadership role in securing and developing the quality of higher education in the UAE. As a matter of the highest priority, it sets out to safeguard academic standards, and to assure and enhance the quality of learning opportunities provided for students in UAE’s higher education institutions (HEIs). It undertakes licensure of HEIs in the UAE and accreditation of their award-bearing academic programs. In order to be entered in the National Register and receive Federal Recognition any HEIs offering post-secondary education in the UAE must receive institutional licensure and accreditation of their degree, diploma and certificate programs that are of at least one-year study duration. CAA accreditation incorporates recognition of Diploma (Associate Degree), Higher Diploma (Advanced Diploma) Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma and Certificate, Master Degree and Doctorate Degree. These Degree ranges from level 5-10 as per National Qualifications Framework (QFEmirates) of UAE.
