Pianegonda has started a partnership with the Istituto Marangoni Milano The School of Design to reward creative excellence and give young students the opportunity to approach the innovative, contemporary style of Pianegonda jewellery and create unique designs reflecting their creative vision.
The jewellery prototypes created as a result of this partnership will be presented during the 2021 Supersalone at the Pianegonda boutique on 3, Via Gesù, Milan, on September 5 to 10, when visitors will be able to see the creative process of emerging contemporary jewellery designers.
In today's world, work, free time and social life are no longer clearly separated, but naturally flow into each other, generating mixed, multifaceted situations. To fit into this new creative scenario, a jewellery project must be able to speak a strong, original language, but at the same time adapt to different contexts and situations.
It must produce versatile, distinctive jewellery, free from the stiff codes of conventional elegance, making the wearer feel at ease in a variety of informal occasions.
Developed for Pianegonda by the students of the Fine Jewellery postgraduated course at Istituto Marangoni • The School of Design, all projects start from the unique vision or concept originated by each student, an expression of their own story and artistic sensitivity, to create unprecedented jewellery, shaping a subtle, contemporary kind of beauty, with an eye to market needs and ergonomics.
It will be a “different” kind of jewellery, which introduces a new way of experiencing the product, designed for a young yet sophisticated brand, open to a new vision of luxury and elegance.
