"This is not a house" is a residential project that involves three fundamental themes: the choice of the Alexander McQueen brand, the analysis of new ways of life for future generations and the "Shape Shifting" trend. The concept of the house responds to the needs of future generations, especially Millennials. In an increasingly frenetic world, in which the needs, demands and priorities of the new generations are constantly changing, even the home is constantly evolving, dressing with furnishings and structures with a transformative vocation. The way of understanding and living the home changes, becoming more flexible and temporary. This need is combined with the pop and playful attitude of design in the form of a design and aesthetic approach through an informal and hybrid spirit that living is taking on because what emerges is the desire of the new generations to be constantly surprised and stimulated even in their most familiar environment.
