Giacomo Giusti • Subconscious Wunderkammer
As we rediscover almost lost values, the home changes according to our needs and emotions, and the living space becomes the mirror of our mind. In the home of the future, each component will acquire a specific function. In reaction to a more and more homologated world I decided to explore the idea of the Wunderkammer, where objects were displayed without a logical criteria. I analyzed the rules of metaphysical geometry; the School of Paris; the readymade projects made with components from different contexts. I developed my project structurally: thin and light arches surround the entire perimeter of the space as an allegory of the brain case. The furnishings and décor are an allegory of fluctuating thoughts.
