THE COLLECTION: OSSIMORI
The design of the garment was born from a research based on the recycling of left-over parts during the production of leather garments, and therefore on how to reuse those pieces, often of small dimensions, in order to create an avant-garde and high-impact garment.
Subsequently, after an initial research on the best use of the positioning of the cuts, he began to create sketches until he arrived at a first draft.
Starting from leather scraps, he obtained a first prototype, which, not yet having been reworked, also proved interesting by using the inside as the outside. This is how a second design research was initiated to maximize the use of double-sided leathers (such as reversible zips). He also drew inspiration from the world of sports (e.g., vintage motorcycle bikers) to arrive at the final product we see today.
THE DESIGNER: SIMONE CELLI
"I firmly believe that Fashion must transmit emotions, in order that customers desire to have your products.
About aesthetics I like to experiment, combining apparently contrasting styles, volumes and fabrics with colors inspired by nature, giving life to avant-gard and high-impact clothes but still with recurring elements such as oversized and fitted volumes and use of denim, leather and chiffon, always with studied manipulations in order to create emotional garments."
