Saudade

‘Saudade’ is a Brazilian word but a universal feeling. It evokes the nostalgia that can emerge at any time with a song, a perfume, a place or just a distance. Like a wave of feelings that suddenly embraces us, this design proposal for Moroso represents fluid and warm emotions in contrast with the coldness of absence and distance.

The shape of Saudade comes from a fluid watercolour stroke creating a curved, elegant silhouette padded with wavy elements at different heights that, like a hot wave, connect the various parts of the sofa.
