Through her work the student explores subjectivity, identity and human narrative. This is an introspective journey into an ever-shifting and ambiguous dreamscape encountered during isolation. The project had begun by considering the nature of the invisible in comparison to its far more rationally attractive counterpart known as the visible. And it was at this moment that she asked herself: “What if the two are not polar opposites, but instead it is the certain intangible crossover between them which is the substance of human experience?” Then she pondered for a moment on the current human attraction to polarisation, and the deceptive certainty of a defined narrative, but soon she woke up.
