Gravità Permanente [Permanent Gravity]

Chaise longue was designed for the Memphis brand, whose design language of solemnly geometric shapes and bright colours was invented in the Eighties. This language turns out to be in harmony with the contemporary visual scene, especially that made by 3D artists in their experimental work.

In addition, the project contains references to literature, science and abstractionism, and even the flying carpet from fairy tales. Hence its name ‘Permanent Gravity’, which encapsulates the idea of abstract lightness fitting both the magical and the digital dimension.
