Air Whale

Air Whale is a seat designed for the Cappellini brand. It is inspired by the profile of a humpback whales’ fin, which guarantees high hydrodynamic performance through its sinusoidal shape. This shape has been transposed into the seat by defining a repeatable module to create abstract compositions. These fluid and organic volumes are made of translucent polycarbonate covered with an iridescent vinyl film, but can also be made of recycled plastics.
