The project that saw Istituto Marangoni • The School of Design students collaborating with furniture brand Poltrona Frau, titled Poltrona Frau Living Modules for Mars, will be exhibited in the spaces on Via Cerva during Milan Design Week.
The brand challenged interior design students to imagine human life on Mars, identifying a possible interplanetary future where the contemporary home is combined with a visionary environment, simulating living conditions on Earth.
The result is residential modules designed specifically for the Martian habitat, furnished with Poltrona Frau's contemporary taste, which expand the human dimension into other worlds by creating evolving spaces to meet the needs of their inhabitants.
The installation itself - generated by Art Director Alice Ballabio with the support of artificial intelligence - reflects the theme of this collaboration through a Martian environment that visitors can explore to discover the students' projects.
