The contest
40 Visual Design students hailing from Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Design are actively engaged in a compelling project spearheaded by Outpump and Porta Venezia Design District. This initiative features a spirited competition tailored for Graphic Design courses offered by select universities in Milan, aimed at fostering and championing emerging talents.
Tasked with crafting an artwork poised to serve as a manifesto, the students draw inspiration from the profound concept encapsulated in the phrase "EverythinK is design," echoing the renowned words of design luminary Paul Rand: “Everything is Design."
Informed by Rand's assertion that design encompasses the fusion of form and content, embracing myriad interpretations akin to art itself, the students embark on a creative journey fueled by this rich thematic tapestry.
Following a meticulous curation process by Outpump, the chosen posters will grace a prominent 6x3 meter wall nestled within the vibrant heart of the Porta Venezia Design District, serving as a captivating focal point during the illustrious Milan Design Week (#MDW).
