The Elena Salmistraro and Cappellini Mentorship Programme came to an end
Elena Salmistraro's Mentorship Programme in collaboration with world-famous Italian furnishing brand Cappellini has come to a close.
Throughout the semester, Interior Design students worked with their Tutors and Mentor Elena Salmistraro to design the interior of the new Cappellini Concept Store on Via Borgogna, located just a few metres away from The School of Design.
The participants worked on designing the store, striving to strike a balance between functionality and experientiality. Today, customers expect more than just buying a quality product - they desire a comprehensive and welcoming customer journey. For this reason, the objective of future interior designers will not only be to create a visually appealing space but also a pleasant and highly immersive one.
The Final Delivery took place right inside the store, where the students, accompanied by their Tutors and Programme Leader Marcella Bricchi, presented their final projects to their Mentor and Giulio Cappellini, Istituto Marangoni Art Director & Brand Ambassador, who expressed their opinions and gave their final feedback, proving to be very satisfied with the results. For the students, it was an important opportunity to get involved and work alongside industry experts who shared their experiences and provided valuable advice for their future careers.
