Istituto Marangoni Firenze is pleased to announce its partnership with Louis Vuitton for the first edition of the Louis Vuitton Accessories Design Graduates Initiative contest, which aims to select future accessories designers and offers a unique opportunity to the top five talented individuals - a chance to work with Louis Vuitton's leather goods and accessories team. 

Istituto Marangoni Firenze is the only school of the Istituto Marangoni group to participate in this exclusive initiative given its proximity to the world of accessories and leather goods, offering dedicated three-year and Master's programmes available only at the Florence school. 

The initiative aims to recognise the creativity, flair and talent of the new generation of fashion designers. Louis Vuitton is looking for young talents with visionary ideas in design, craftsmanship and sustainability, which are perfectly in line with the values of Istituto Marangoni Firenze, which combines traditional skills with innovative techniques.

To kick off this wonderful project, Baron Osuna, LVADGI & Special Projects Manager at Louis Vuitton met with students from the Master’s in Luxury Accessories Design & Management and third-year Fashion Design programme at Istituto Marangoni Firenze.

Contest participants had the opportunity to present their ideas to the Louis Vuitton team and receive valuable feedback from them. The final selection process will evaluate their work on a detailed list of achievements, including their creative process, product design, drawing skills, knowledge of fashion and luxury, consistency, understanding of the Louis Vuitton brand, and proficiency in oral, written and visual communication.

The pre-selection of applicants will continue until March, and the finalists will be invited to Paris in April to meet with the jury of Louis Vuitton representatives and present their projects.
