Istituto Marangoni is proud to celebrate London as a leading Design capital by contributing to the 2018 edition of London Design Festival, taking place 15-23 September : #LDF18. Acting as a gateway to the international creative community, Istituto Marangoni London will host a series of pop-up events that focus on a unique approach to fashion and design. These events will leverage partnerships with renowned alumni and will be hosted in venues around key LDF18 locations.
Throughout the course of the festival, Istituto Marangoni London will present its newly launched Design courses. Joining The Milano School of Design in offering Interior Design, Product Design and Visual Design degrees, Istituto Marangoni London’s new courses - validated by Manchester Metropolitan University - will start from October 2018.
The London Design Festival will give aspiring designers and professionals interested in further developing their skills the opportunity to learn more about the London School of Fashion and Design, as renowned alumni, program leaders and IM staff will be available to tell their experience during the numerous events organised by Istituto Marangoni London throughout the LDF.
The schedule is rich with exciting events, including the exhibition at the Truman Brewery of alumni Térence Coton, architect and designer, who recently won the Red Dot Award and industrial product designer Matteo Agati, who has been awarded the RADO Star prize. Moreover, a unique installation in partnership with POLIFORM UK which will see the display of leading-edge garments created by a selection of the most prolific Alumni from Istituto Marangoni London, the installation - that brings together interiors and fashion - will culminate in an event that replicates a live salon show more familiar to London Fashion Week – it is here where the clothes will come to life.
