MASTER’S IN DIGITAL DESIGN FOR IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES | SNAPCHAT
Istituto Marangoni is collaborating with Snapchat to offer emerging creatives the opportunity to get a scholarship covering 50% of tuition fees for the Master’s in Digital Design for Immersive Experiences, starting at the Milano School of Design in October 2022.
Students wishing to get a scholarship must design an application based on Augmented Reality (AR).
The creative proposal, featuring AR digital filters, should improve the user experience within a physical space, a store or an outdoor or indoor meeting place. The ultimate goal is to harness the power of experiential immersion to create a project that can engage and positively affect the user’s entire sensory sphere.
The projects will be judged by the Board of Education of Istituto Marangoni • The School of Design and Mentors of the Master’s in Digital Design For Immersive Experiences.

THREE-YEAR COURSE IN MULTIMEDIA ARTS & MASTER IN DIGITAL MEDIA ARTS • MEET Digital Culture Centre
Istituto Marangoni is collaborating with MEET Digital Culture Centre. This international centre explores and talks about people, languages, creative ideas and innovative projects through meetings, exhibitions, learning experiences and performances that bring people back to the centre of technological change.
MEET promotes technology as a resource for creativity. For this reason, it supports a contest for creatives aspiring to an art career with the opportunity to get a scholarship for the three-year programme in Multimedia Arts and the Master’s in Digital Media Arts starting in September 2022 at Istituto Marangoni Firenze • The School of Fashion & Art.
Contest participants who wish to enrol in the three-year course must submit a concept for a multimedia creative idea; for the Master’s programme, they will need to design an immersive installation.
In addition to creativity and originality, the project must demonstrate the right balance of aesthetic sensitivity and awareness of the mediums used. The judges will also consider the candidates’ ability to integrate different tools and use innovative technology.
