Istituto Marangoni Mumbai was proud to be part of the vibrant discourse at the inaugural edition of Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) in India, held from January 10th–12th , 2025. The festival, organized by Stir World, brought together a diverse range of creative minds from architecture, design, film, theatre, and culture to explore critical themes shaping the world.
Riding on a remarkable 16-year run, the ADFF premiered in South Asia, presenting a unique opportunity for audiences in India to engage with the larger creative community in the region. The program encompassed four key aspects: compelling Film Screenings, the interactive Pavilion Park, thought-provoking public talks under the ~log(ue) banner, and Special Projects including the Royal Institute of British Architects Exhibition, "The Architect Has Left The Building," and Suchi Reddy's captivating installation.
On January 11th, the second day of the festival, Istituto Marangoni Mumbai's Director of Education, Mevin Murden, contributed to the ~log(ue) public program, participating in a vital panel discussion titled "Sustainable Fashion: Reality Versus Rhetoric." This session, held in a theatre setting, provided a crucial platform to dive into the complexities of sustainability within the fashion industry.
