I'M Alumni Global Reunion
On July 2nd, the third edition of I'M Alumni Global Reunion took place at the Lindley Hall, in London; it is the annual Istituto Marangoni networking meeting dedicated to the international elite of over 40,000 Alumni. This year’s edition has bestowed its I’M Alumni Award on Alessandro Sartori, who started his career at Istituto Marangoni Milano and who is now Artistic Director for Ermenegildo Zegna.
This extraordinary event, taking place every year in a different city, gathers members of the Alumni community from all over the world. Former students of Istituto Marangoni are offered the opportunity to share their experiences and future projects, as well as to create new collaborations and meet special guests from the fashion and design industries.
This year, special guests included Bethany Williams and Eudon Choi, interviewed by journalist Hilary Alexander OBE, and Nynne Kunde, winner of I’M Alumni Collections ®evolution 2019, who talked about her new collection on the making and the mentoring support she’s receiving in preparation for her debut on the runway of Milano Moda Donna in September.
The I’M Alumni Global Reunion is a concrete example of the lifelong connection between ex-students and the school. In fact, the I’M Alumni community was born as a project for and dedicated to the alumni, with the aim to encourage the conversation between alumni and Istituto Marangoni, as well as to offer continuous support to young talents in their professional career, wherever they may be. It offers visibility, invitations to dedicated and exclusive events and updates on courses and open contests.
I'M Alumni Global Reunion, together with the I'M Alumni Award, represents an important appointment that aims to enhance and to promote students’ professional success, creating opportunities to meet and network together, finding inspiration for their own creations and styles.
