Israeli designer Aliza Shalali Deizy, Istituto Marangoni former student and owner of the Daizy Shely brand, wins "for [her] outstanding creativity and potential." The jury awarded Aliza Shalali Deizy for the commitment, determination and expressiveness shown in her womenswear collection. AltaRoma celebrates the 10^th anniversary of Who is on Next?, the talent-scouting competition for young Made in Italy fashion talents organized by Alta Roma in collaboration with Vogue Italia, with a Quality-centered edition. The EIC of Vogue Italia Franca Sozzani announced this year’s winners with Silvia Venturini Fendi, Altaroma’s President. "Ours is an ongoing and concrete support, we’re not looking for collections that remain within the fashion circuit for one season only, we aim at long-term visibility" explained Sozzani. Born in Israel, Deizy graduated in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2011 and launched her own brand Daizy Shely soon after. She’s been living in Milan since 2009 and last year she opened her first showroom in the city. Her collections are designed for self-confident women and focus on the use of quality materials and obsessive attention to details.
