A special project for Start-up Master students
A special project for Start-up Master students
The Start-up Master’s students at Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Fashion have embarked on an exciting project in collaboration with the Fashion Technology Accelerator (FTA), aimed at supporting four promising innovative businesses in the fashion, lifestyle and events sectors.
The class will be divided into small groups, each assigned to a specific start-up, and the students will take on the role of consultants, working closely with the FTA to provide strategic support and advice to these emerging companies.
The project is a great opportunity for Fashion students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-life business cases that are closely related to their field of study. Students will have the chance to explore innovative solutions for the specific needs of each start-up, contributing to their development and ultimate success.
Four start-ups will be involved in the project. The first one is Miss Luxury Hair, which aims to make the look and hair styling of your dreams accessible to anyone. The second start-up is Musthad, which is dedicated to environmental sustainability by helping fashion companies reduce fabric waste through upcycling, reselling or recycling. The third one is Penguinpass, which works in the events sector and provides a solution to facilitate the moment of accreditation and the subsequent reporting of attendance at the event through an application that tracks guests. Lastly, Zkin Lab is a start-up that aims to improve and optimise skincare by providing products that contain high-quality ingredients formulated to meet the specific needs of each client.
The students will face various challenges posed by each start-up, and must use the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their time at Istituto Marangoni Milano to provide effective, innovative and feasible solutions.
This project highlights once again the Fashion School's commitment to preparing students for successful careers in fashion and entrepreneurship.
