As the previous fashion month drew the curtain on the era of streetwear and underscored a revived fascination with elegance, we eagerly await to discover the style trends for men’s fashion in FW 2024/2025. Will we see a compelling fusion of sophisticated tailoring and contemporary masculine aesthetics on the runways? Alas, we don’t have a crystal ball to predict it. However, one thing we can reveal is that there are exciting new developments on the horizon, and we are here to unveil them.
Milan Men’s Fashion Week FW 2024/2025: Bridging Movement and Fervor
Captured through a dynamic lens by Carmine Romano against the vibrant backdrop of Metropolitana MM3 Missori – in collaboration with ATM (Azienda Trasporti Milanesi) – the forthcoming MFW seeks to celebrate the symbiotic relationship between the city and fashion. This commitment resonates through dedicated attention and support towards the burgeoning generation of designers.

The official CNMI (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana) schedule comprises 74 events, including 22 physical and 5 digital fashion shows, 32 presentations, 7 presentations by appointment, and 8 other events. For those interested in witnessing the showcased collections, large screens have been installed throughout the city of Milan by Urban Vision. Additionally, the MFW can be viewed on YouTube, courtesy of the video channel partner Fashion Channel, and streamed live on the official CNMI platform.
The CNMI website is poised to feature a dedicated section for virtual showrooms, both multi-brand and single-brand. This section will remain active beyond Milano Fashion Week, allowing fashion trade operators to access it during sales campaigns.

Gucci is set to open the series of fashion shows on Friday, January 12, at 3 p.m. CET, unveiling Sabato de Sarno’s much-anticipated debut in menswear. Closing Milan Fashion Week, the spotlight will shift to Zegna, reclaiming its position as the final show of MFW and reaffirming its preeminent status in Italian men’s fashion. The return of Fendi menswear to the Milanese fashion show calendar adds to the excitement. Additionally, the first Etro boutique on Milan’s Via Montenapoleone, exclusively dedicated to men’s tailoring with a made-to-order service, will have its grand opening. But hold on to your fashion hats because there is more excitement to come!
Fresh Names on the Runway – Unveiling the Debutants
It promises to be an electrifying and diverse fashion week with the inclusion of exciting new entries, providing a stage for both established brands accustomed to traditional presentations and emerging talent in the industry.

Stone Island will break the ice by making its debut on January 12 at 6 p.m. CET. While not entirely ‘new’ in the conventional sense, the brand will be gracing the catwalk for the very first time with a new ‘Manifesto,’ setting the stage for the next captivating chapter in its journey. CNMI President Carlo Capasa confirmed that the Stone Island show will be more than just a runway, choosing the industrial ambience of La Cattedrale in the Certosa District as the perfect backdrop.
“As we embark on this next chapter for Stone Island, Milan Men’s Fashion Week provides us with the platform to unite our community and unveil Stone Island’s new Manifesto, which encapsulates the unique legacy, values, and mission of this iconic brand,” expressed Robert Triefus, the former Gucci executive appointed CEO of the Moncler-owned outerwear company earlier this year.

Brands making their debut presentations include Domenico Orefice, Mordecai by Ludovico Bruno, Institution by Galib Gassanoff with his first solo project after exiting Act N°1, LaTorre, Noskra, Rubeus Milano, ViaPiave33, Stuart Weitzman with its opening presentation of a men’s collection, and Woolrich Black Label by Todd Snyder.
A special mention goes to Pronounce, led by Yushan Li and Jun Zhou, who will be showcasing for the first time in Milan after departing from London Fashion Week.
Comebacks that Wow and Confirmations that Sparkle
Get ready for the grand return of fashion heavyweights and trusted regulars to Milano Fashion Week’s iconic line-up. The multi-hyphenate Jonathan Anderson is set to showcase the menswear of his brand JW Anderson, Fendi makes a triumphant return to Milan after its appearance in Florence, and Gucci’s Sabato De Sarno will unveil his debut menswear collection for the Kering-owned fashion house on the opening day. The excitement is palpable; what could be in store for us? The anticipation is in full swing, and the question in everyone’s mind is whether De Sarno can exceed expectations.

But that’s not all – the event will also feature the powerhouse duo of Italian fashion – Prada (will we witness a new vision for menswear under the creative guidance of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons?) and Giorgio Armani. Joining them in the spotlight will be DSquared2 and MSGM, now solid pillars of Milan Men’s Fashion Week.
Innovation, sustainability, responsibility, and a deep appreciation for culture are the driving forces behind the development of the Italian fashion system, and Milano Fashion Week is a testament to these values. Beyond the enthralling fashion shows and presentations, the week boasts diverse events, including the opening of the exhibition titled ‘Tailoring School: A Journey into Education,’ a collaborative venture by Kiton and Triennale Milano.
This exhibition is a result of their joint commitment to an educational project, which builds on the legacy of the Scuola di Alta Sartoria established by the Neapolitan brand in 2000. For over 23 years, this school has been a beacon of excellent training, playing a pivotal role in preserving traditions and ensuring the continued global legacy of sartorial art, as outlined on the Triennale Milano website. The exhibition will feature a series of meetings and activities involving various training schools in the area.

Milano Fashion Week is gearing up for a high-energy week, and trust us, boredom is not on the guest list! Carlo Capasa made it clear: “We still want to have fun.”
