Riccardo
Grassi
Riccardo Grassi was born in Tuscany. With a strong vocation and a pure background he lands in Florence in the 80's, city of artists and fashionistas.
He decided then to co-found a studio/laboratory to introduce an alternative avant-garde in fashion, to be brought to the chicest boutiques worldwide: this was the beginning of Studio Zeta.
The common factor that allows to establish a new concept of showroom is to research new designers and new labels to be offered nationally and internationally to a more and more demanding market.
With this inspiration he started to collaborate with Pitti Trend conceiving the "Altro Uomo", which is still nowadays an exhibition section of Pitti Immagine Uomo. Due to his experience he still actively collaborating as a consultant for new trends.
In 1988 he decides to move to Milan with his studio newly named Studio Zeta Milano, which firmly establish itself as one of the main point of reference in fashion: a "tradeshow" of new proposals always developing, working with more than 2000 stores worldwide. He actively collaborated and developed the distribution of brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, Katharine Hamnett, Yigal Azrouel, Giuliano Fujiwara, Antonio Marras, Albino, Giambattista Valli, Zagliani, Neil Barrett, MSGM, N°21, DROMe, Blancha, Fausto Puglisi, Off White, Adam Lippes, Paula Cademartori and Marco De Vincenzo.
After more than 30 years of experience Riccardo's curiosity and tenacity still allows him to follow with success all his new projects, scout new talents and share his own vision and perspicacity of contemporary fashion and trends.
