These talks are designed not only to enrich students' understanding of sustainability in fashion, but also to ignite a meaningful dialogue on this critical topic, ensuring a holistic and impactful learning experience.

This exhibition features the remarkable projects of the finalists of the I’M Conscious Contest that highlights the intersection of fashion with global issues: sustainability, social and cultural responsibility and inclusivity. Nine talented Istituto Marangoni second year students are redefining the industry's narrative through research innovation and dedication. A diverse array of projects, as diverse as the fields of study: design, styling and business are developed in order to remind us that fashion can be a powerful motor for positive change.

Fashion Design students have analysed fashion with an eco-conscious lens: from upcycling to the use of innovative techniques, their designs push the boundaries of style while respecting the planet’s resources.

Future Fashion Stylists are using fashion as a catalyst for social change. Their powerful narratives challenge stereotypes and celebrate diversity.

Fashion Business students have envisioned a more ethical and equitable fashion industry, their innovative business plans prioritise people and planet alongside profit.

Together, these projects represent a collective commitment to shaping a fashion industry that is not only stylish but also sustainable, socially responsible, and inclusive.

Through a series of meticulously crafted engaging interactions with esteemed industry pioneers, Istituto Marangoni Milano endeavors to empower students with the knowledge and inspiration required to instigate profound change in the fashion landscape.
Comprising three distinct sessions with prominent professionals from the field, these talks will serve as pivotal platforms for students to gain invaluable insights, cultivate innovative perspectives, and begin the journey towards impactful transformation within the industry.
