Sammy
Chang
Sammy Chang, Creative Director and Fashion Consultant from Taiwan, takes her first steps into the fashion world at a very early age, not long after her mother gave her a paper doll with several fancy dresses to play with.
With the dream of pursuing Fashion in Europe and become a professional fashion designer, Sammy studies Fashion Design and quickly earns multiple experiences within various areas of fashion. By the age 27, Sammy has acquired many skills and invaluable knowledge, so much so that she is confident enough to take a big step forward and founds Orangerie Fashion Studio, which provides merchandise planning and design concepts services for fashion companies.
When a remarkable opportunity to work as Design Director for a renowned brand in Shanghai presents itself, Sammy’s already successful career takes a new, exciting direction, leading her to the top levels of major fashion companies in China, taking a primary role during fashion weeks and events.
With the changes happening in the Chinese consumer market, Sammy feels the need to acquire further skills to better serve her clients and to finally turn her childhood European dream into a reality. Sammy finds in Istituto Marangoni The Milano School of Fashion and its longstanding academic history the perfect answer to her professional growth and, with the close support of tutors who are also some of the most respected professionals of the industry in Italy, obtains a Master in Fashion Luxury Brand Management.
Pleased with the experience obtained in Milan, Sammy moves back to Shanghai where she trains at Istituto Marangoni Shanghai to become a qualified teacher of Fashion.
Today Sammy continues to collaborate with some of the most prestigious brands both in Asia and Europe, helping them achieve higher results.
